چکیده
Non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) has been considered a promising technique for the fifth generation (5G) mobile communication networks because of its high spectrum efficiency. In NOMA, by using successive interference cancellation (SIC) techniques at receivers, users with different channel gain can be multiplexed together in same subchannel concurrent transmission spectrum. The simultaneously achieves system throughput NOMA. However, it also leads to more energy consumption, limiting application many energy-constrained scenarios. As result, enhancement efficiency becomes critical issue NOMA systems. This paper focuses on efficient user clustering strategy and power allocation design downlink maximization systems is formulated as an NP-hard optimization problem under maximum power, minimum data rate requirement, SIC requirement. For approximate solution much lower complexity, we first exploit quick suboptimal method assign each subchannel. Given optimal solved two steps. By employing Lagrangian multiplier Karush–Kuhn–Tucker optimality conditions, calculated addition, then, inter-cluster dynamic programming model further developed achieve overall theoretical analysis simulations show that proposed schemes significant compared existing methods.

A Fair Power Allocation for Non-Orthogonal Multiple Access in the Power Domain
This paper presents an investigation on the performance of the Non-Orthogonal Multiple Access (NOMA) in the power domain scheme. A Power Allocation (PA) method is proposed from NOMA throughput expression analysis. This method aims to provide fair opportunities for users to improve their performance. Thus, NOMA users can achieve rates higher than, or equal to, the rates obtained with the convent...
متن کاملOn Non-Orthogonal Multiple Access in Downlink
Non orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) in the downlink is discussed in this letter. When combined with soft frequency reuse, NOMA is detrimental to user fairness by increasing the data rate of a near user at the cost of data rate of a far user.
متن کاملUser pairing schemes for capacity maximization in non-orthogonal multiple access systems
This paper addresses the issues related with conventional near–far user pairing in non-orthogonal multiple access. Performance effects of near–far pairing on regions with negligible channel gain differences between users are investigated. These regions occur when pairing is performed between cell center and cell edge users, thus leaving the cell mid users to be either paired with each other or ...

Decoupling the uplink and downlink user association improves the throughput of heterogeneous networks (HetNets) and balances the traffic load of macro- and small- base stations. Recently, fiber-wireless HetNets (FiWi-HetNets) have been considered as viable solutions for access networks. To improve the accuracy of user association and resource allocation algorithms in FiWi-HetNets, the capacity ...
متن کاملNew Optimal and Suboptimal Resource Allocation Techniques for Downlink Non-orthogonal Multiple Access
This paper investigates several new strategies for the allocation of radio resources (bandwidth and transmission power) using a non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) scheme with successive interference cancellation (SIC) in a cellular downlink system. In non-orthogonal access with SIC, the same subband is allocated to multiple users, which requires elaborate multiuser scheduling and subband ass...
